BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The mild weather that took place at times during the month of November extended the leaf collection season by a few weeks but that is about to end.
Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker told the City Council on Monday night they are asking city residents to not put any more yard waste or brush in the street.
The Village of Union City is winding up leaf collection. After this week, the truck that picks up leaves will be converted to a plow truck.
Village officials are asking residents not to rake more leaves out to the road at this time.
Union City crews have picked up over 130 dump truck loads this year, well above the typical year of 85.
The City of Bronson says their leaf machine will be put away for the season, next Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Any leaves after that date will need to be bagged in biodegradable paper bags.
