Organizers of the annual Breakfast with Santa/Cookie Walk at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Activities Building in Coldwater Saturday say it was a wonderful event, with 50-60 parishioners working together.
The Knights of Columbus made and served a yummy, pancake breakfast. The Squiers helped with the bussing of tables and also putting up the tables and chairs and taking them down. The Confirmation class helped with crafts and decorating, as did other youth. The Council of Catholic Women and the ladies of the church baked and baked delicious cookies for the Cookie Walk.
They say the children loved the crafts area and took home items that they will treasure for years.
And the children had a chance to visit with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and their elves.
