BETHEL TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A man who reportedly tried to steal a vehicle Monday morning in Bethel Township is being sought by the Michigan State Police.
Troopers from the Marshall post say they were dispatched to an attempted vehicle theft in the 600 block of Block Road at about 6:30 a.m..
They say the suspect vehicle appeared to have round headlights and was possibly a Jeep.
A man exited the suspect vehicle and as he approached the homeowner’s car, the homeowner ran him off the property.

State Police would like to remind residents to lock their vehicle doors this winter while the vehicle is warming up.
