COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – With the help of Ray Sebastian from the Kiwanis Club, the Coldwater Recreation Department has unveiled a new sled library at Heritage Park.
The Kiwanis Sled Library gives people a chance to enjoy the Kiwanis Sledding Hill by borrowing a sled for free and returning it when they are done.
Community members may donate new or used sleds to the sled library and stop by the sledding hill when there is snow to enjoy the program.
Julie Santure, Community Enrichment Director with the Coldwater Recreation Department, says, “We love this opportunity that Kiwanis has created to keep the community active. We’re thankful for the Kiwanis Club for making our sled library a reality, and we look forward to seeing our community enjoy it this winter.”
