COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – With a powerful winter storm expected to drop wind chills down to as low as 30 degrees below zero over the Christmas weekend, the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center will serve as a emergency warming shelter for those who need to get out of the dangerous cold conditions.
Rachel Everett from the Coach Eby Center says they are planning to stay open as a warming shelter until next Tuesday.
The Coach Eby Center is still planning to host their annual Christmas dinner on Christmas Day from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m..
Deliveries are available. Call the center at (517) 278-5031 for delivery before 4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
The meals are free but donations will be accepted to help offset the costs.
