MOSCOW TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Five persons were injured Christmas Day in a Hillsdale County crash.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office says a two vehicle crash happened at about 2:45 p.m. on Combs Road near Sterling Road in Moscow Township.
They report 32-year-old Tia Marie Kies of Jerome was traveling north on Combs Road when she attempted to go around an unoccupied vehicle parked on the shoulder. As Kies was cresting a hill, she crossed the center line and collided with 86-year-old Robert Herbert Feahr of North Adams.
Kies, 32-year-old Mahlon Deverre Wyatt of Jerome and two juveniles who were passengers in the Kies vehicle were transported to Henry Ford Hospital by Reading Emergency Unit. Feahr was transported to Henry Ford Hospital by Somerset Township Ambulance.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Moscow Fire Department, Somerset EMS, Auto Image Towing, Hillsdale Towing, Reading Emergency Unit, and the Michigan State Police.
