Diana “Dee” Lynn Summers, 65 of Coldwater passed away Friday, January 20th, 2023, at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A memorial service will take place Friday, January 27th at 1:00 p.m. at the Oasis of Love Family Church, 341 N. Hudson St. Coldwater, MI, with Pastor Harold Jewell officiating. There will be no burial services immediately after the memorial service. A burial of ashes will be conducted at a later date.
Diana was born September 18th, 1957 to Harry and Joyce (Lynn) Harwood. She married John Summers on May 9th, 1992, in Coldwater. They met while they were working at the Coldwater Bakery.
Diana enjoyed quilting, camping, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and landscaping.
Diana is survived by her husband John Summers of Coldwater, her children Lisa (Dale) Fuller of Coldwater, Angi Davis of Nevada, David Boyer of Louisville, KY and Tim (Kerri) Summers of Coldwater; her siblings Kenny Harwood of Arizona, Butch Harwood of Arizona, and Kay Whitney (Harwood) of Arizona; her grandchildren Gabe Summers, Tyson McKinley, D.J. Fuller, Daylin Fuller, Gracie Davis, Hudson Boyer, Parker Boyer and Addison Boyer. She is also survived by several in-laws that were very supportive of her throughout the years: Janet Zabonick, Mary French, Cheryl Hurd, Carol Kelley and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents, stepfather Utley Parks, brother-in-law Sam Kollmorgen, sister-in-law Rhonda Kollmorgen, father-in law John Summers and mother-in-law Helen Summers, whom she cared for deeply.
