ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – A Jonesville man was arrested Monday by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office in connection with an alleged child molesting in April of 2022 at a residence on State Road 120 east of Fremont.
34-year-old Kevin Lambos was taken into custody following an interview with Sheriff’s detectives.
The Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that the arrest came after a four week investigation into allegations that Lambos had sexual contact with a 12 year old girl at the residence.
He was booked into the Steuben County Jail on two counts of child molesting. One was a level 1 felony count in Indiana, the other was a level 4 felony.
Lambos remains held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
Assisting the Sheriff’s Office in the investigation were the Dr. Bill Lewis Child Advocacy Center and the Indiana Department of Child Services.
