COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education decided during their organizational meeting Monday night to keep the same officers for the next year.
The Board voted to keep Doctor Edward Lake as the President. Jeff Holbrook will continue to serve as Vice President while Clair Dean will be the Secretary.
Doctor Ronald Lanford will be the Board Treasurer once again.
Meanwhile, the posting for the open Coldwater Community Schools Superintendents position will close on February 3.
Superintendent Terry Ann Whelan recently announced her retirement/resignation as of June 30, 2023.
Candidates will be presented to the Coldwater School Board during a special meeting Monday, February 20. Most of the meeting is expected to be spent in an executive session.
The first round of interviews is scheduled to start March 8 with the final interviews scheduled for March 16.
Whoever is selected by the School Board is scheduled to start their Superintendent duties July 1, 2023.
