LANSING, MI (WTVB) – 35th District Republican State Representative Andrew Fink is not happy about Governor Whitmer’s gun proposals she made in Wednesday night’s State of the State address.
She said firearms are getting more dangerous.
Fink, who has been a frequent critic of Whitmer, said in a statement issued by his office, “Gov. Whitmer wants to take firearms from the homes of responsible Michigan gun owners focused on keeping their families safe and properly defended against threats. That’s not what the people of our communities want, and I won’t take it lying down. I’ll continue to stand up for our fundamental civil right to bear arms – ensuring our neighborhoods are safe and secure from threats.”
The Governor says her gun reform proposals will not impact law-abiding citizens and gun owners and will make the state safer for children.
Thanks Andrew for standing up to this radical left wing Governor.
