COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater native who will be racing at the Daytona International Speedway in the ARCA Menards Series later this month has picked up a sponsorship from a local company.
SEKISUI Voltek has announced they are sponsoring Gage Rodgers as he will be driving the Kimmel Racing #68 car in his first ARCA Menards Series 200 race on Saturday, February 18, 2023.
President and CEO Neil Beckhusen says, “This is a unique opportunity for us to highlight our Volara foam on such a large platform, such as Daytona International Speedway. The fact that Gage is from Coldwater also made it an easy decision for us. We are proud of Gage and will all be rooting for him to bring home a win.”
Rodgers car and fire suit will highlight Voltek’s Volara® brand of foam.
He has been racing since he was a youngster and got his initial start racing Sprint Karts.
At the age of 14, Rodgers began racing Asphalt Modifieds and worked up to Pro Late Models.
He has already has two regional championships and a WKA Grand National Championship with a win at Daytona International Speedway.
Rodgers says, “As a Coldwater resident, it means a lot to be sponsored by a local company like Sekisui Voltek. I’m looking forward to representing their Volara brand of foam and my hometown.”
