COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Information is now available on Branch County’s website (countyofbranch.com) for anyone would like to volunteer and serve on the various county boards.
Branch County Clerk Terry Kubasiak told the Board of Commissioners on Tuesday there are several openings.
Available immediately are five openings for the Airport Zoning Board of Appeals as well openings on the Building Inspection Board of Appeals, the Mental Health Board and the County Planning Commission.
These are volunteer positions appointed by the Branch County Board of Commissioners that will run through 2023.

Branch County citizens can also apply any time before March 8 for the following board:
(Note: These appointments will be made at the end of March)
Mental Health Board – 3 openings
Jury Board – 1 opening
Apply any time before April 15th for the following board:
(Note: These appointments will be made at the first meeting in May)
Building Inspection Board of Appeals – 1 opening (Building)
Apply any time before October 1st for the following board:
(Note: This appointment will be made at the end of October)
Human Services Board – 1 opening
(includes Maple Lawn Board)
