COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Property assessment change notices that were sent out by the City of Coldwater show something which has not taken place since Proposal A was passed almost three decades ago.
City Manager Keith Baker reported to the City Council on Monday night that the taxable value in Coldwater increased to its maximum limit.
Coldwater residents who are not happy with their property tax assessment can take their case to the City’s Board of Review.
The Board of Review meetings this month have been scheduled for Monday the 13th from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon and from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday the 14th from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday the 15th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
