BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – More nasty winter weather is heading for Branch County as the third winter storm to hit the area in just over two weeks is expected to move in late Thursday night.
Branch County along with surrounding counties are included in a Winter Weather Advisory which is in effect from 10:00 p.m. Thursday night until 11:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
National Weather Service forecasters say they are expecting a total snow accumulations of four to six inches in portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan and northwest Ohio.
You can plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning commute.
This latest system follows the devastating February 22 ice storm which causes a massive amount of power outages and last Friday’s storm which dumped nearly six inches of heavy, wet snow on the Coldwater area.
