UNION TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Union City teenager was injured Wednesday morning in a rollover crash on Union City Road north of Girard Road.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened at about 7:00 a.m..
They report 17-year-old Elijah Airel Flynn was driving a 2007 Honda Civic when he looked away from the road to change radio stations.
His vehicle went off the road and overturned several times before coming to rest on its tires.
Flynn suffered what were described as non-life threatening injuries and was transported to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital by LifeCare Ambulance.
The Sheriff’s Department says Flynn was wearing his safety belts and air bags in the vehicle deployed.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Union City Fire Department, Union City Police and LifeCare Ambulance.
