Joyce Charmayine Mueller, 71, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at Ascension Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
Funeral services for Joyce Mueller will be held Monday, March 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Pastor Don Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 PM and again Monday from 12 Noon until the time of service.
She was born January 25, 1952, in Hillsdale, Michigan to Zell and Betty Lou (Purvis) McVicker, Sr. She married Jack Mueller on August 22, 1969 and he survives.
Joyce attended Allen and Quincy Schools. She was formerly employed at Jonesville Products, Goodwill in Coldwater, and worked housekeeping for several hotels in Coldwater. Joyce loved shopping at thrift stores, lunch dates at the local Chinese restaurants, “deer looking,” traveling to their family cabin in the U.P., and cooking for family and friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving besides her husband of 53 years, Jack are three children, Tammie (Randy Michael) Mueller of Coldwater, Jessica Mueller of Quincy and Bobby Mueller of Coldwater; grandchildren, Jaycie Mueller and Harper Mueller-Michael of Coldwater, Jackson Handshoe of Fremont, IN, Olivia (DeChristopher) Arrington, Jefferson Ridgway and Hailee Ridgway all of Quincy; great grandchild, Aliyah Arrington, and one more on the way; and siblings, Ruth Ann (Harry) Cotton of De Tour, MI, Louise (James) Hall, Sr., of Jacksonville, FL, Zell McVicker, Jr. and Michael (Phyllis) McVicker both of Quincy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gloria Schultz; and nephew, Keith Stollings.
