BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings dropped a pair of close girls softball games to Clinton on Friday afternoon by scores of 5-4 and 2-0.
Ashlynn Harris and Paige Roussey both had two hits for Bronson in the first game while Addison Harris had a double.
The Vikings could only manage four hits in the second game which went eight innings.
Ashlynn Harris struck out six in going the distance in the circle. She also stole two bases.
Coach Becky Gray said, “We played two tough games against a good team. Those are the games we need to play in order to get better as a team. I felt we pitched well both games and played defense well. We just had a few untimely errors. We also need to be better offensively. You can’t win games if you can’t score.”
Bronson’s record is now 2-4.
