HOMER, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson and Quincy track teams took part in a Big Eight Conference double dual meet at Homer on Wednesday night.
Quincy scored a pair of wins in the boys portion of the meet as they defeated Bronson 90-47 and Homer 92-42. Bronson earned a split in the double dual as they defeated Homer 83-44.
Quincy winners were Ethan Hollister (100 and long jump), Cameron Barry (200), Clayton Benson (300 hurdles), Ashtyn Morris (shot put and discus) and Corey Turner in the pole vault. Quincy won the 400, 800 and 1600 relays.
Bronson winners were Boston Bucklin (400 and high jump) and Aden Hathaway (800 and 1600).
The Quincy girls split their two meets. They lost to Homer 74-63 but the Orioles defeated Bronson 106-30. The Vikings also lost to Homer 100-34.
Quincy winners were Elizabeth Craig (400), Sadie Miller (800 and 1600), Brookelyn Parker (100 hurdles and 300 hurdles), Sophia Snellenberger (shot put and discus) and Coelie Smullen (high jump).
Jaiden Hayes scored the only win for Bronson in the long jump.
