BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson swept a Big 8 Conference softball double header from Reading on Thursday by scores of 15-0 and 21-1 as they remained unbeaten in the Big 8 Conference.
First game winning pitcher Addison Harris tossed a three inning no hitter.
Lydia Wells drove in three runs. Wells, Ciara Blankenship and Brealyn Lasky each had two hits.
Ashlynn Harris had two triples in the second game.
Aubree Calloway drove in four runs. Blankenship and Ryleigh Fee each had three RBI’s.
Coach Becky Gray said, “Everyone was able to contribute to the game tonight. It was good to see our bats come alive. Our pitchers did well tonight and the defense played behind them. We will continue to work and improve and this weekend will be a good test for us.”
Bronson is now 8-7 overall and 6-0 in the Big 8.
