OVID TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – After four straight weather cancellations, boys golf teams from the Big 8 Conference were finally able to hold a jamboree on Thursday which was hosted by Bronson at the Bella Vista Golf Course.
The Quincy Orioles shot a 183 and won the Jamboree by five strokes over Jonesville.
All Quincy four scorers were in the top 10. Sam Sawyer was Co-Medalist with a score of 41, Dave Miiliman tied for third with a 44 while Chase Walters and Braylon Estlow shot a pair of 49’s and tied for sixth.
Union City finished third with a team score of 215. Carter Krummrey led the Chargers with a 49 while Logan Mears carded a 54.
Bronson did not have golfers for a team score. Carson Norton led the Vikings with a 49 while Nic Cranson fired a 52.
