COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Police Department has announced the promotions of two department members from the rank of Patrol Officer to Sergeant.
City Manager Keith Baker says in his report for Monday’s City Council meeting that Officer Bryan Regan is being promoted to Sergeant on May 28, 2023.
Regan has been with the Coldwater Police Department since January 2019, with prior service in Mendon, Michigan.
He serves as the department’s Arson Investigator as well as an instructor for Taser and defensive tactics.
In addition, Officer Sarah Gunneman is being promoted to Sergeant on September 4, 2023. She has been with the Coldwater Police Department since September 2019.
Gunneman was hired upon graduation from Grand Valley State University and completion of their police academy. She serves as the department’s cell phone forensic examiner.
