QUINCY TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater woman was taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital following a two vehicle crash at the intersection of State and Quincy Grange Road on Monday afternoon.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened just after 3:00 p.m..
They say 52-year-old Raymond Stone of Albion pulled away from a stop sign and was struck by a westbound vehicle operated by 69-year-old Debra Doudt of Coldwater.
Deputies say Doudt’s vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign before striking the Stone vehicle.
While Doudt was taken to ProMedica, two children in her vehicle were uninjured. Deputies say one child was not restrained.
Doudt was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and for have a unrestrained child.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Quincy Fire Department and LifeCare Ambulance Service.
