BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Deputies from the Branch County Sheriff’s Department were forced to terminate a high speed pursuit of a motorcycle on I-69 Wednesday morning.
The speeding motorcyclist was reported to 911 Central Dispatch by a motorist near the four mile marker on the interstate at about 8:15 a.m..
The motorcycle was described as being white in color. The driver was said to be wearing a white helmet.
It was estimated that the speed of the motorcycle got as high as between 120 and 150 miles an hour.
Once the pursuit entered Calhoun County, Branch County deputies notified their counter parts in that county and terminated the pursuit.
