COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After last year’s success, the Waldron Center is hosting its second prom for students with disabilities age 16 and older on Friday afternoon.
Waldron Center teacher Hillary Raymond says at least 30 students are taking part in the two hour prom which starts at 12 noon.
Parents will be able to take pictures of their students all dressed up for the prom as they arrive.
Numerous volunteers along with students from the Branch Area Careers Center help put the prom on.
Some of the clothes have been donated by the Altrusa Astra Club’s Gowns for Gals/Ties for Guys closet.
Waldron custodian Tom Wright will once again serve as D.J..
