MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Two long time rivals, the Coldwater Cardinals and the Marshall Red Hawks, were set to battle in baseball and girls softball on Friday afternoon.
The girls softball games were to have a big impact on first place in the Interstate 8 standings.
But due to the threat of inclement weather, it was decided around noon to postpone the varsity and junior varsity baseball and softball games until Monday afternoon.
The first pitch for all of the games on Monday will be 4:00 p.m..
It’s the second time this spring that baseball and softball games between Coldwater and Marshall have been postponed.
The games were originally scheduled to be played on April 25 but were called off on that day due to rain and temperatures near 40 degrees.
