COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Farmers Market Committee is calling all interested Farmers Market Vendors to attend a Vendor Meeting this Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m. at Coldwater City Hall.
The Market will run for 12 weeks between Strawberry Fest and Apple Fest, every Saturday morning from June 24 until September 9. Hours will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m..
Vendors are currently being sought with the Farmers’ Market Committee encouraging the use of locally grown foods and materials. Vendors can choose to attend week-by-week or commit to the full 12-week season.
The Committee is looking for those that sell fresh fruits, vegetables, maple syrup, meat, eggs, dairy, herbs, baked goods, dry goods, and prepared foods like salsas or sauces, or flowers and plants. No mass-produced items will be allowed, and any non-food item must be hand-crafted using natural or recycled products.
At the meeting, the 2023 policies of the Market will be reviewed and discussed, any questions of vendors answered, as well as the vendors being able to see the new layout for the renovated northwest Four Corners Park.
