STURGIS TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Felony charges will be sought against a 36-year-old Mendon woman after the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office says they seized “a substantial amount” of fentanyl and methamphetamine during a traffic stop on Thursday night.
Undersheriff Jason Bingaman says deputies with the road patrol stopped a vehicle at 10:15 p.m. on Centerville Road near Fawn River Road in Sturgis Township.
When they suspected narcotics inside of the vehicle, deputies requested the assistance of the Sturgis Police K-9 unit.
The drugs were discovered with the assistance of the K-9 unit and Sturgis Police.
The reason for the traffic stop was not reported. The woman’s name along with other information surrounding the bust were not released.
I looked on mobile patrol for St Joseph County MI and there isn’t any female that is 36 years old listed for Thursday or at all today??
