BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson’s Addison Harris tossed a no hitter and struck out 12 as the Vikings softball team shut out Parma Western 1-0 in a tune up for Saturday’s district tournament.
Kaylee Wilber had two of the three Bronson hits. She also stole a base and scored the game’s only run.
Brealyn Lasky had the other Bronson hit.
Bronson Coach Becky Gray said, “I thought we played well on defense. Addie pitched a great game and the defense played well behind her. Parma’s pitcher pitched a good game as well and we struggled with her rise ball, however, we found a way to get the win. I am very happy with the way we played tonight. It was a good game to get us ready for districts.”
Bronson’s record is now 25-13. They will play Quincy in the Division Three district semifinals at Union City on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m..
