UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings have advanced to the M.H.S.A.A. Division Three Softball Regionals after they captured the District championship at Union City on Saturday.
Bronson defeated Quincy 11-0 in the semi-finals as Addison Harris and Ashlynn Harris threw a combined no-hitter. Ashlynn Harris had four singles, scored four times and drove in two runs. Brealyn Lasky had three hits and two RBI’s. Bronson then defeated Homer in the district championship game 13-5. Addison Harris was the winning pitcher. Kaylee Wilber and Addison Harris both had two hits. Lydia Wells drove in three runs. Ciara Blankenship scored three times. The Vikings are 27-13. They will face Kalamazoo Christian at noon on Saturday in the Watervliet Regional Tournament.
