Hisel sworn in as Coldwater’s newest police officer

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s newest police officer was sworn in on Monday morning.

Kaden Hisel took his oath of office at Coldwater City Hall surrounded by friends and family.

Officer Hisel graduated from the the Oakland Police Academy in Auburn Hills on June 2, 2023, and now begins the department’s Field Training Officer program.

The four month program will pair Officer Hisel up with veteran CPD Officers and Sergeants.

During this time Officer Hisel will learn how to apply the information and skills from the academy classroom to real life situations.
