HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – A North Adams woman along with a juvenile passenger had to be sent to local hospitals on Saturday afternoon after a rollover crash.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash which they say happened at about 2:40 p.m. on Quackenbush Road near South Sand Lake Road.
They say 31-year-old Chasity Conley was heading west near Sand Lake Road in a Ford Excursion when she claimed a deer ran into the road.
Conley swerved to miss the deer and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle then went off the road and overturned multiple times before coming to a rest on the driver’s side.
There were two juvenile passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
One juvenile was transported to Hillsdale Hospital by Reading Emergency Unit. The driver was taken to the hospital by the Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office was also assisted at the scene by the Reading Fire Department and Auto Image Collison and Towing.
