BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Organizers of the July 23 Chain of Lakes Poker Run have announced on their Facebook page there are some big changes for this years event due to Corn Island being closed down.
Since Corn Island is unavailable, the poker run will not end on Marble Lake.
Organizers have decided to have the poker run sign up and first stop at Archer Lake Watersports between 10:30 a.m. and 12 noon on that day.
There will be stops on Bartholomew Lake, Mud Lake, Long Lake and at the Coldwater Lake Marina.
After the last stop, hands will be dealt upstairs at Bent Prop Pub where all of the prizes, 50/50 drawing and raffle give-aways will take place.
There will also be a live band playing. The money raised this year will be split evenly between the Coldwater Lake Association and Marble Chain of Lakes Association.
More information on the changes for this years event can be found on the Chain of Lakes Poker Run Facebook page.
Last year’s Poker Run was held after a two year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
