COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The ninth season of the Coldwater Farmers Market will kick off this Saturday.
The market will be held every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. through September 9 in the northwest corner of the Four Corners Park.
Organizers say there will be many new vendors this season, and some returning from previous years. Weekly entertainment will return with Patt Taylor for the first week.
The Branch County Community Foundation will once again provide shoppers with reusable bags when they come into the market.
Vendors at the first market include 1971 Farm, American Flower Trends, Naomi Graber Baked Goods, Firebird Fine Arts Academy, Houtz Honey, Tri-State Corners Farm Market, Seffernick Farms, Skidmore Family Farms, The Victorian Nomad, Union City Rotary Club with maple syrup, Litten’s Hobby Farm, Hopathekarey LLC., Jayne Pie Pantry, Mushroom Curiosity, Walnut Level Farms, Jam and Gems, Anne Marie’s Mixing Bowl, Thistle-Dew Crunchy Munchies, and CJ’s Homestead Farm Stand.
Market vendors will provide locally grown products. A small percentage of the market will include non-food products with the idea that the item must be of high quality and locally made by the vendor. No mass-produced items will be allowed.
