BURR OAK TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A 48-year-old Burr Oak woman was arrested and lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail on Tuesday night when a traffic stop turned into a drug bust.
St. Joseph County Undersheriff Jason Bingaman says deputies with the Road Patrol conducted a traffic stop on Big Hill Road near Kelly Road in Burr Oak Township at about 9:40 p.m..
During the stop, Bingaman says deputies found methamphetamine and suspicious pills inside the vehicle.
They further discovered that the pills were methamphetamine disguised as vitamin pills.
The suspect is expected to be charged with several felonies.
