CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police troopers are investigating the theft of construction equipment from the ongoing ramp work at the I-69 and I-94 interchange.
They say a CAT Mini-Excavator was taken on Sunday night at around 7:00 p.m. and was last seen heading north on Old U.S. 27.
The suspect was driving a black RAM crew-cab pick-up truck, and pulling a black equipment hauler flatbed goose neck trailer.
The excavator is described as a yellow 2017 CAT 303.5 with a small front bucket and rubber tracks.
