COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Commission on Aging Executive Director Amy Duff has been presenting updates throughout Branch County in recent weeks on the different programs that are being offered through the Burnside Center.
She spoke to the Bronson City Council last month and to the Coldwater City Council on July 10.
Duff said the Commission on Aging offers a food program that began in January.
The suggested cost for those over 60 is $3 per meal and it’s $7 per meal for those under 60.
The C.O.A. is also providing meals for home bound seniors.
Duff told the Coldwater City Council last week they have a wait list right now because they do not have enough volunteer drivers for their meal deliveries.
Drivers receive mileage reimbursement for driving their own vehicles and they must have a valid drivers license.
