BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – It’s been almost a month since temperatures in Branch County have hit 90 degrees but the National Weather Service says that will change this week.
Along with highs getting above 90, the humidity will also increase and make for some very uncomfortable conditions especially for those without air conditioning.
Forecasters are calling for hot and humid conditions from Wednesday through Friday.
Highs are expected to be in the upper 80s to mid 90s. Heat index readings are also expected to be around 100.
Showers and thunderstorms are also in the forecast Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The M.S.U. Extension Service weather station at the Bloom Dairy Farm west of Coldwater has not recorded a 90 degree day since June 24.
