BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson School Board of Education formally approved the hiring of Kristina Crabill as the new Junior and Senior High School Principal during a special meeting on Wednesday night.
Crabill takes over for John Herbert who left the district at the end of the past school year to pursue an opportunity in the ministry field.
Crabill served as a principal at a third through fifth grade elementary school in Jonesville before deciding to retire at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.
She has been in education since 1999. Crabill has worked in the Bronson, Sturgis and Jonesville school districts during her career.
Crabill’s hiring came a week after the Bronson School Board approved the hiring of Laurie Doner as the new Principal at Ryan Elementary School.
For now, Curriculum Coordinator and Director of Grants Kate Wall is serving as the district’s Interim Superintendent.
There has been no mention by the Board of Education about posting the open Superintendents position after Steve Wilson resigned in June as part of a separation agreement.
