COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The next meeting for Women Who Care of Branch County will be held on Wednesday, August 16 at the ProMedica Community Care and Conference Center at 370 East Chicago.
All women in the community are invited to attend. The doors open at 5:00 p.m. with the meeting starting at 5:30 p.m.
At the May Women Who Care of Branch County meeting, the group voted to give funds from the meeting to Coldwater Housing Matters, benefitting the Family Promise of Branch County shelter program.
Family Promise is an emergency housing shelter program serving single adult women and any composition of families with children.
The amount donated at the one-hour meeting was $10,000 putting the group a total donation to the community of over $344,050 since it’s inception in 2014.
Hors d’oeuvres for the meetings have been donated by the Branch County Community Foundation.
