BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – With excessive heat and humidity in the forecast, Bronson Community Schools have made some adjustments to their schedule.
Interim Superintendent Kate Wall says there will be a half day of classes on Wednesday. The Junior/Senior High School will dismiss at 11:20 a.m., Ryan Elementary will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. and students at Anderson Elementary will be dismissed at 11:35 a.m.
There will be no school on Thursday in Bronson as heat index readings are expected to get up to near 110.
Friday will be a full day of school with a delayed start as scheduled.
Wall says athletic practices and game schedules will be discussed and any changes will be communicated.
In addition, the Branch ISD and the Branch Area Careers Center will be closed on Thursday.
