GIRARD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two women were injured in a three vehicle crash late Friday afternoon at the intersection of Jonesville and Marshall Roads.
Michigan State Police troopers from the Marshall Post are investigating the crash that took place just before 5:00 p.m..
First reports indicate the at fault vehicle blew through a stop sign and that alcohol or narcotics may have been a factor.
One of the injured women was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, the other was taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
Firefighters from Coldwater and Quincy, Life Care Ambulance, and the Air Care helicopter were all dispatched. The Branch County Sheriff’s Department also assisted at the scene.

More details on this would be nice. I understand that they might not give out names yet but we get better info on stuff that happens in Stueben and St Josoph counties than we get for Branch county. Don’t know what direction vehicle on Jonesville was travelling but I know that they fly down Jonesville between Marshal(US27) and Union City Rd. Have had several end up in the ditch when going westbound at the bottom of the rise about half way down road.
