ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – An Angola man was arrested by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department on Friday in connection with an investigation into allegations of inappropriate contact with a child.
62-year-old Ronald Charles Albright was taken into custody by detectives at a residence in the 600 block of West CR 157 South.
He was arrested on a warrant issued by the Steuben Superior Court charging him with three counts of Level 4 felony child molesting/fondling.
The warrant follows an investigation that began in July when the Sheriff’s Office was notified of the allegations by the Indiana Department of Child Services.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Albright allegedly fondled a nine year old child on more than one occasion in June.
Albright was being held without bond in the Steuben County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
The case remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office. Angola Police provided assistance during the arrest.
