HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater boys were fifth while the girls team did not have enough runners for a team score at Tuesday’s Interstate 8 Jamboree hosted by Hastings.
Coldwater’s Luke Aerts was 15th while James DeWitt was 17th and Drew Vanderpuyl was 29th in the boys meet.
Ella Grabowski was the top finisher for Coldwater in the girls meet as she was 35th.
In other Branch County cross country results from Tuesday, Union City’s boys were third in the junior/senior division while the girls did not have enough runners for a team score at the Eaton Rapids Invitational on Tuesday.
Although there were not enough Union City runners for team scores in the freshman/sophomore division, Ben Gautsche won the boys race while Cullen Decker was fourth. Alli Gautsche was second in the girls meet.
Top finishers for Union City in the junior/senior races were Cohen Burdick who was 12th in the boys race while Skyler Fraley took second in the girls race.
