QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A route that was used for last year’s Quincy Homecoming Parade will be used again on Friday night.
A diagram shows a detour for cars on U.S. 12 to get around the parade route during the parade as well as a detour that allows cars to get past Main street by going either north or south. There is also a detour for semis.
The route was put in last year after previous parades caused some people to get upset which led to disruptions where the roads were blocked.
The parade will start at 5:30 p.m. at Jennings Elementary School. It will travel along Fulton, U.S. 12, Pleasant, Jefferson, Main, Orange and Fulton Streets before returning to Jennings Elementary.
