BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson and Quincy cross country teams competed on Saturday in Division Three at the Otsego Invitational.
Quincy was second in the Division 3 girls race while Bronson was sixth.
Bronson’s Ashlynn Harris finished first for the third time this season as she won in a time of 19:32.79. Ava Hathaway was third for the Vikings while Lydia Wells was 23rd. Kendyl Musielewiez of Quincy finished fifth. Brookelyn Parker was 10th, Sadie Miller finished 11th and Katharina Parchke was 28th.
Bronson was second in the boys race while Quincy was 11th. Six Vikings were in the top 22 led by Drew Norton who was 11th. Dominic Kiomento was 15th, Jack Ganton was 17th, Kamron Brackett 18th, Brayton Cosby 21st and Tyler Wilber 22nd. Chayse Jensen was 56th to lead the Orioles.
Meanwhile, the Coldwater boys were eighth in Division one and two at the DeWitt Invitational. James DeWitt was 34th for Coldwater.
