COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater B.P.U. Board of Directors approved recommended revisions to the utility’s Rules, Regulations and Rates on Wednesday night.
The action came following a joint meeting on September 11 between the B.P.U. Board and the Coldwater City Council.
B.P.U. Director Paul Jakubczak said the nearly 100 page document has not undergone a complete review since September of 2015.
The recommended changes covered several areas.
Jakubczak said they will also change all of the flat fees they have had in the past to an aid in construction charge.
The updating of the document started well over a year ago. The changes approved were forwarded to the City Council for their adoption.
They are scheduled to be implemented on January 1, 2024.
