BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Two members of the Calhoun County Board of Canvassers were unanimously re-elected to four year terms during Thursday’s Calhoun County Board of Commissioners meeting.
The Board re-elected Democrat Susan Buckley and Republican Bonnie Kazmar. Their current terms will end on November 1. Their new terms will run through November 1, 2027.
Each party in the county submitted three nominees. The other nominees were Democrats Nancy MacFarlane and James K. Powers along with Republicans Carol VanSlyke and Ric Herwarth.
The four year terms of Democrat Brendel Hatley and Republican Ginger Kamps will expire in 2025.
