COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – With the forecast calling for soggy weather, the Coldwater Recreation Department has announced that its Haunted Forest has been postponed for two weeks.
The City of Coldwater’s annual celebration of Halloween was originally scheduled for this Friday and Saturday night.
But the National Weather Service forecast was calling for a 100 percent chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms on Friday night.
The forecast for Saturday night was not much better. It was calling for a 90 percent chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms.
The new dates for the Haunted Forest are Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 in Rotary Park.
The times will remain the same. The less scary forest will take place each evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.. The scary forest will take place from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. both nights.
The price of admission is $5 per person.
