JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – An Osseo teenager was killed Thursday morning in a Hillsdale County crash.
Deputies from the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the crash at about 10:40 a.m. on Reading Road near Grass Lake Road.
Upon arrival, deputies determined that a 2010 Ford dump truck was west bound on Reading Road when it went out of control and hit a tree.
The driver, 18-year-old Clayton Bowditch, was found to be deceased upon the arrival of first responders.
The crash is still under investigation. The Jefferson Township Fire Department and Hudson EMS assisted deputies at the scene.
