COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Downtown Development Authority gave the Promotions Committee permission to move forward Wednesday with the creation of a website dedicated to downtown Coldwater events and activities as well as to serve as a source of information for businesses.
After conducting research which included getting quotes, the Committee recommended the Missouri-based web site designer Munibit for the project.
D.D.A. Board Member Courtney Dirschell said this would be the first devoted web site for downtown Coldwater.
Main Street Director Audrey Tappenden said the proposed website is mobile friendly.
Munibit will not charge an upfront cost but there would be an ongoing yearly cost of $708 for the website platform, which is based on the number of businesses in downtown Coldwater. This expense will be a part of the Community Promotions budget line item and a launch is anticipated for early 2024.
